    No Help

Why is it every time a send an e-mail to you I don't get an answer? I guess I'm wrong in thinking that cybercoders is here for the individual looking for help in his/her job search.

The resume builder has serious errors.

Every time I create a resume through the builder (since the submitted resume does not process correctly) the fields and values get screwed up completely. To the point, its extremely embarrassing to represented when your 'built' resume is hardly intelligible. It duplicates the resume, or any information I have entered gets shifted to being the label of another table cell. Its getting ridiculous.

    Allow salary to be $0

My last job was an unpaid internship. Therefore, when I registered, I had to just set the salary to the lowest available. It would be nice to be able to tell the truth.

Also, what about people who have are currently not making $30,000 or more?

City field in "Personal Info" page is broken planned

I entered my address correctly in the Personal Info page. Several times. Each time, you guys changed the name of the town to something different. Pay attention to what I type, don't do a zipcode lookup to derive the name of the town!

Alert people when JavaScript and/or cookies are disabled planned

My registration at CyberCoders.com did not go smoothly, because I keep JavaScript and cookies turned off by default. I eventually got things fixed, but it would have been easier if you showed some sort of alert that JavaScript and cookies are needed. Many other sites do this. Take a look at jobs.volt.com for an example of how to do this (but note that their alert pages are much too wordy and contain too much advertising that distracts from the primary message: "Turn on JavaScript and cookies!"

    complex tools for job search

    1. enable the search of jobs w/ parentheses like "(head OR lead) AND manager"

    2. Enable search in multiple countries/states/cities. People are willing to relocate in these tough times.

    3. Enable sort by date to neglect positions which I've already noticed a week ago.

    Accidental application has no undo

I did not want to apply to a job, but got mail anyway saying I should finish the application. No way to undo, and now I have a saved application I do not want.

Sort by "Location" should sort 1st by state, 2nd by city under review

Current sort does city first, state second which is nearly useless geographically. For example, Aberdeen, NM is nowhere near Albany, NY ... they just both start with 'A'.
